Description
Using as inspiration the scientific studies which show that our true nature is a field of
immaterial intelligence and pure consciousness from which thoughts feelings and emotions emerge by means of cerebral inter-cellular communication with the help of chemical substances which are known as “ neuropeptides “ I conceived this sculpture, thinking of immortalizing this very process of inter-cellular communication. Perceived as a macro photography, with the main subject being the neuropeptides, the sculptural composition brings a play of intertwining volumes, seen as a dynamic communication between cells which tends to gradually swallow up the entire pre-established volume. The relation between full and empty, which is visibly disproportioned, confer a certain unity to the many shapes that are uneven in form and size, and which were intentionally done as such in association with the diversity of the many potential thoughts. The title of my sculpture reflects simply it’s subject and at the same time it emphasizes on the influence chemical substances have on our cells.
